February 05, 2019 was observed as Kashmir Solidarity Day in district sheikhupura with the commitment of continuing support to the Kashmiri brethren till liberation of occupied Kashmir.
The day started with special prayers in almost all mosques of the city for early freedom of occupied Kashmir. Quran Khawani sittings were also arranged. One minute silence also observed at 10:00 a.m. in the city while District arranged a number of functions, meetings, seminars and walks to highlight the Kashmir Solidarity Day. Meanwhile, the Kashmir Solidarity Day observed in Muridke, Ferozewala, Safdarabad and Sharaqpur Tehsils of Sheikhupura District like other parts of the Province on Sunday. The public rallies / walks arranged in all the five Tehsils of District Sheikhupura as well as meetings, seminars, debate competitions and rallies also held in educational institutions.
